Art doesn’t have to break the bank, you can get your hands on affordable décor for your walls for much less than at home goods. The best part is that this art is much better than what you can get at home goods and you get to pick the size and style that works for you.

1.Thrift Store
This one can be hit or miss but you can find some great stuff at the thrift store. The key to hitting the thrift jackpot is going often. You won’t always find something the first time, most thrift stores work on a donation basis so you may have to revisit the store often to check up on new stock. My favorite find at the thrift store is old frames.

2. Free Printable Art

3. DIY
You can make your own art with a few simple materials. You may even discover a new talent or passion in the process. In todays world tangible hobbies are becoming less common and can help us relax from the rat race of life. 4. Posters
Framed posters are a great way to hang art on your wall that is supposed to be printed and framed. Art that is printed on canvas can look cheap but posters are meant to be printed.

5. Prints
Prints are blocks that have been carved, rolled with ink and then stamped on paper. Prints are another affordable option for original art. You won’t have a one of a kind, but you will have art unique to a certain artist. You can find prints like this on etsy.
